Barrio de Valdemarín

Called for the Architecture competition by the real estate developer Q21 Privilege Real Estate, the project was selected for its architectural uniqueness, spatial richness, functional optimization and constructive simplicity. The homes will be developed in an area of 22,500 m² located north of Madrid, in the Valdemarín neighborhood, belonging to the Moncloa-Aravaca district.

Project detail

The architectural design has sought to adapt to the geometry of the different plots, defining access and garden areas with greater privacy in relation to the living spaces. The floor plan of each home is arranged in an L shape, and its arms are articulated on an interior-exterior patio that organizes the circulations, illuminates the access and visually adds the spaces.
In the arm arranged in a north-south direction, the night area is developed with all the bedrooms and associated living areas, facing east and facing the pool and garden.

The project has been conceived so that its shapes and orientations favor the capture and passive control of solar energy and air circulation, contributing to comfort and energy sustainability.

The cleanliness and geometric clarity of the volumes simplifies execution and maintenance, enabling the serialization and prefabrication of some construction elements.
